New features requiring configuration

  • Disable pages from PDF pack

By default, when you generate a record PDF Pack it includes a cover sheet at the front, and an endorsement/activity log at the back. Previously it was possible to customise the content/style of these pages, but not omit them. It's not possible to completely omit them from generated PDF Packs.

This is useful for some teams where briefing documents and templates constitute the cover page content itself, and teams are happy to keep this manually updated instead of automatically generated from record status+metadata.

Improvements

  • Copy record URL: You can now click the Copy URL button next to the record title on the Record Details screen to instantly copy the URL to your clipboard. For Brief Connect users who primarily use the platform within Teams, this is going to make record sharing much easier!

  • CSV Sanitisation: We've closed a gap around automatically generated CSVs, ensuring we sanitise any data to minimise any security risk.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed "All must agree" workflow comments and decisions not being saved

Resolved an issue where comments and decisions made during "All must agree" workflow actions were not being properly captured and saved. This builds upon improvements from 2.2.18 and should resolve any remaining issues with this workflow type.

  • Webhooks now functioning correctly

Fixed an issue introduced in 2.2.16 where webhooks were not firing after their relevant events occurred.

  • Signed documents maintain correct file format

Resolved an issue where uploading a signed document in a different file format than the original document would cause the system to automatically convert it to match the original file's format, resulting in an unreadable or encrypted file. The system now handles signed documents correctly regardless of format differences.

  • Placeholder text capitalisation preserved

Fixed an issue where placeholder text on combobox fields was being incorrectly transformed to lowercase. Placeholder text now displays with the correct capitalisation as configured.

  • Consistent help text for Title field

Resolved an issue where help text for the Title field displayed differently during record creation compared to after the record was created. Help text now displays consistently across all stages.
