New features
- Saved dashboard searches
We've introduced "Saved searches" into Brief Connect, allowing users to save combinations of record filters, searches, and column configuration on the dashboard into ready-to-go searches you can activate at any time. This is particularly useful for service/coordination teams that manage records on behalf of other teams. For example, an Executive Assistant in the Deputy Secretary's office can pre-configure saved searches that quickly surface records assigned to their division without needing to manually reconfigure the search each time.



New features requiring configuration updates
- Configurable Document Metadata
It's now possible to assign metadata to Documents! This is a much sought after feature by our customers, particularly those who had a requirement to classify individual documents for records retention purposes. Document metadata options must be explicitly configured for Record Types within the Admin Panel.
