New features requiring configuration updates

  • Delegate workflow actions to other roles

Previously when designing workflows, if you wanted to allow someone other than the task assignee to be able to complete or close a task - they either needed to be an admin, or to be a proxy of the task assignee.

We've now introduced the ability for a workflow action to be configured in order to allow another role to complete a task on behalf of an assignee.

Delegated workflow tasks are shown in the I Want To menu with a special icon:

Improvements

  • Template ordering alphabetically

When adding templates to a record, the templates are now listed in alphabetical order - making it easier to navigate and find templates among large lists.
